Sorbetes

Whom do you know does not enjoy dirty ice cream on a cone?

Ice cream, sorbetes, has never tasted any better, been eaten any simpler, enjoyed at any cheaper price than the one from your local ice cream man, the sorbetero.

Have a graphic taste of this all-time street-food fave.

Travel Factor conquers Sagada for the nth time

August 18, 2011 § Leave a comment

Inspired to use my newest outdoor baby, a Lumix DMC-TS2, I tried documenting an adventure trip to Sagada hosted by Travel Factor. It is situated in the cold highlands known as the Mountain Province, north of Manila. Featured in this video are mostly roadway views to and from Banaue, the Banaue Rice Terraces, Kiltepan Viewpoint where the Cordillera Range can be seen, the road to and from Lake Danum, Echo Valley, and the Lumiang and Sumaguing Caves.

This is my first motion picture project and I used music from one of my recently discovered band favorites, Johnny Foreigner. The song “Our Bipolar Friends” just fits perfectly and rocks this nature trip all the more – one note that echoes on everything, it says.

So far, the camera has served me well except for the vertical magenta strips through harsh light sources. I’m still getting used to holding the camera still, zooming and panning as well as walking while recording so some parts may not go smoothly. I think I’ve also fast forwarded some segments too much that you can’t make anything out of the faces unless you hit pause. Anyway, I hope you guys like this.

Where Am I?
